Fifth and ninth period:
Read Chapter 1 of To Kill a Mockingbird.

Seventh and eighth period:
Read Part One of Sula. Use Google to determine what allusions are made by the name "Shadrack." This means you should look the name up on Google, and read a few of the responses you receive from that search.
