9th grade:
Using today's passage on page R-25, and your notes on R-26, write a sentence outline explaining how you would write an introduction for an essay on the theme of this story.

10th grade:
Using today's table, and yesterday's information on outlining, develop a thesis and outline an introductory paragraph on world crude oil production. You may choose any statistics from the table to craft your argument, but you must use only your analysis of information found on the table to develop your outline.
