All periods:
Catch up on your reading: Make sure you have read through 3.1. and read 3.1 twice over the weekend. Complete Handout 8.

IN ADDITION:
First period:
Write a paragraph on 2.3, explaining what Friar Lawrence thinks about plants, and how that could be a way of explaining human interactions and the world at large.

Second period:
Prepare for a quiz on your reading for Monday.

Fifth period and ninth period:
Prepare your group presentation on your group's section of either scene 4, 5, or 6 of Act 2. Prepare for Monday's quiz.

Seventh and eighth period:
Write a paragraph explaining the theme of Friar Lawrence's speech (Act 2, scene 3, lines 1-31). Give at least one specific example of a literary element or technique which proves your point.
