Read and REAP chapter 10. Rewrite the scene where Miss Maudie's house burns down from Calpurnia's perspective.

Fifth period:
Use your understanding of allusion and symbolism to write a theme conveyed by "Fences."

Seventh and eighth period:
Prepare for tomorrow's in-class essay on the topic of the week. DO NOT WRITE THE ESSAY UNTIL CLASS TOMORROW: I WILL NOT ACCEPT YOUR ESSAY IF IT IS COPIED IN CLASS FROM A DRAFT YOU WROTE AT HOME.

Ninth period:
Research your character's name on google. Bring in as much information as you can about your character from "Fences'" name.
